JoSurfInn, Puraran Beach

Location is unbeatable right by the surf beach! Restaurants in walking distance and amazing views from the large balcony! The host we’re also super friendly :)

Place needs a bit of a glow up; our room was very basic and had mold all over the walls which made sleeping feel a bit uncomfortable.

I spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The village itself is tiny and if you need something you can ask Clay and Jo or they will point you to someone else in the village can help. I organised a surf guide and motorbike through Titaays, a two minute walk away. JoSurfInn is really quiet and comfortable. It had gobsmackingly views, you can check the surf from your bedroom door. Probably the best WiFi in the village, I was able to do whatever I needed to do when I needed to do it. The outstanding feature is Jo's cooking. It doesn't get any better than this. I had dinner there every night because I knew if I went elsewhere I'd be disappointed.

I appreciated the hospitality and the convenient location of the property. The owners were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions, and the check-in process was smooth.

That said, the facilities themselves feel a bit dated and could benefit from some upgrades, and I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for comfort. The room has a nice view, however certain areas (such as the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and overall décor) seemed worn out and would make a big difference with some refreshing and cleaning.

Room 2 door knob in the cr is sooo rusty - needs replacement.
