Posada Gallinas

An absolute gem! We are so glad we stayed here; the main street is one road away so you are close to the action, but not in the thick of it which is important! The room was very clean and with some nice decorative touches. The outside area was the best bit; really lovely to relax here. The free filtered water was very helpful. We met the owner and his father who we both lovely, and really helpful with recommendations. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much!

Great location right beside the Main Street, comfortable bed with mosquito net, lovely relaxing area outside for reading. The host was very helpful and kind, they didn’t charge us for a night we missed due to circumstances beyond our control!

It was very hot in the room during the day. This didn’t bother us as we were out and about but worth knowing in advance if you would like to be able to relax in the room during the day.

Nice place, high value for the money you pay :) Also a friendly and accomodating owner

Loud music from neighbours on the street

The place is very clean (really, it was the cleanest room we had during our trip!). Really nice patio with the kitchen which is very good equipped and also very clean. The owners are really nice! The only thing is that it's very noisy from the street (from early morning to the evening) because the hotel is located rather near to the local houses (not in the hotels area).

Spacious room..beautiful courtyard..friendly staff..fridge in the room was a nice touch.

I don't recommend staying for more than a few nights as it is very noisy in the surrounding area and hot with no air con however it would be OK for a short stay.

Unfortunately it is not possible to have a relaxing stay here due to the noise of the neighbours playing their music full blast all day or the church opposite playing music full blast in the evenings. There was also a power cut and unlike other places, there is no generator so we had to stay in the dark until the power came back.

Lovely place in Palomino, just around the corner from the main street. Very friendly owner too!
