Really chill and private atmosphere, great hosts!

Church/event hall next to the property, they start playing music and shouting in the microphones really early so can get noisy sometimes.

The well equipped outdoor kitchen. The owners are very nice.

The place is really cute and really nicely decorated. The room is nice and comfortable, and the fans were sufficient for sleeping at night, though the room does get very hot in the day because of the tin roof. The shared area is nice, and the kitchen is well equipped. Drinking water is refilled a few times daily. The staff is also really kind.

IT IS LOUD!!! Don't take this lightly! There are a lot of reviews mentioning this and I wish we would have taken it more seriously. There is a church(the singing kind) across the street and they love to jam and be heard in the whole town. Everyday from 6 to 10pm they blast their speakers so loud that it puts any bar to shame. When they aren't playing music someone else in the neighborhood is. If music isn't played then dogs are randomly barking in the middle of the night. If the dogs aren't barking then motorcycle are going by constantly. This is not a place to chill and read a book. Easily the loudest accommodation we have stayed at and we came here to have a relaxing time. Should have gone closer to the beach area. If the hotel was located else where it would get a 10. Anyway, you have been warned!

I stayed here for a week. I think it's a really great value. The owner is super friendly and he helped me with any little issue that I had and always had great energy. The room and outside areas are really nicely decorated. The bathrooms were nice as well. The bed is comfy and I didn't get mosquitos. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook. You also have your own mini fridge inside the room. There are also either 2 or 3 fans in your room. Although at night you don't need them because it gets cooler. There is a little grocery store 3 blocks away, and the main tourist street is also one block away, and there you can find all the restaurants, shops, cafes. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. This is a good place for people who want to be a bit far from all the partying and sometimes chaos of the main road. It's very intimate as there are only 3 units. Also the 2 cats that live on the property are so sweet and playful.

Although it is far away from the noise of the clubs and bars, the hotel is in the local neighborhood, so there is quite a bit of noise from the roosters and dogs, especially at night. But anywhere you stay in Palomino you will have noise at night.

I stayed 3 weeks at pousada gallinas and I had a wonderful stay. Alberto and Carla they give you free water and free coffee all the time. You also have a nice kitchen to cook and two nice cats that are the protectors of the place. The rooms are very comfortable for what you pay and you’re right in the middle of Palomino. Wi-Fi is also to work has a digital nomad like me. I would definitely return here! They also have laundry service at a very good price.

Such a nice property. Really well maintained, beautiful features and had a nice vibe to it.

No AC but there were two fans and it is a little far from the beach but está bien!

The localization was excellent, near to the main street and the hotel is lovely, with all the details that make the room very comfortable, with an indirect light and a mosquito net over the bed. The staff received us on time and very warm and polite. I totally recommend.

The water of the shower is cold, so for a shower at night, when is not so hot, it's a bit uncomfortable.

The owner was very attentive the place was beautiful and calm, away from the main strip. The kitchen was very well furnished and they provided drinking water.

The stove had some issues.

The place is lovely, out of the Main Street so it is quiet at night. It is conveniently located within a 5 minutes walk to all restaurants and bars. The people that took care of us were really nice and helpful. At this time of the year it is very hot and humid and they provided us with an extra fan.

The room was quite warm but we were given an extra fan so it was completely bearable.
