The chalet and its furnishings. The shower and the instructions how to use it, very rare! the very good breakfast left us. The helpfulness of the staff. The location.

I would've liked some Earl Grey tea in the room. I was sorry we weren't there at a time when we could avoid sampled the food in the pub. The bed was too close to a cupboard on one side so difficult to get through to the bed.

Very quiet comfortable room with all the facilities you would want. Nice clean bedding and extras like a fridge with milk water and juices etc. Good wifi.

Very dusty on beams rear of tv, when moved dust fell everywhere. Toilet needs descaling and general maintenance required with some loose socket outlets, painting and resealing needed. Tv old could be upgraded for better connectivity.

Beautiful country pub setting and the chalet type apartment was gorgeous with everything I needed. Matthew was lovely and showed me around and how everything worked and I loved the adopted ginger cat 🐈 would definitely recommend and come again.

The staff were fantastic and the room was perfect.

The breakfast was very nice, especially the fresh croissants! A great selection of teas and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and clean. The service is fantastic, very professional and friendly. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. We would recommend this place and it's great value for money.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, but to nit pick, a mirror on the dressing table and a few extra toiletries in the bathroom might be useful to guests. Otherwise everything else you could need was provided.

Room not huge but perfectly formed with everything needed and carefully planned out . Bed was super comfortable and continental breakfast worked a treat

A lovely pair of chalets tucked away to the side of The Black Horse. The chalets are beautifully furnished and well equipped, iron and trouser press if you feel the need. Continental breakfast is replenished the day before and is more than adequate. I highly recommend the chocolate muffins. Shower room well equipped with power shower. The setting is isolated, rural, with little light pollution, and great for star gazing. The Black Horse restaurant was excellent and extremely popular, so I'd recommend booking ahead.
