Everything. 4 Bootles of water, tea and coffee provided everyday. Location. The family is lovely. Very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money. Jesse arranged a tour to Koh Kradan to snorkel and the Emerald green caves. It was amazing. Best tour. Certainly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful homestay on Koh Mook. The rooms are located about 100 m from the pier when you arrive on the island. Despite the central location, the rooms are quiet and private! Our room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. There’s a full fridge and outdoor seating for each guest. Water, coffee and tea are provided each morning which was lovely. They also let guests borrow bicycles for free and you can bike the whole island easily. Best of all was the family - they were so helpful and were always happy to make suggestions for places to eat and see. Would highly recommend!

We stayed for 5 nights at the colorful PK family home, located right near the pier and village center, and we loved it. Jes, the owner, and his family are incredibly attentive and helpful. Jes assisted us with all our transfers to and from Koh Mook, including a wonderful tour to the Emerald Cave and Koh Kradan. He provided us with insightful tips on spotting sea cows and hermit crabs, along with a hand-drawn map of the island indicating where to find good coffee, authentic Thai Southern cuisine, beautiful beaches, and scenic views. Jes also offered rustic bicycles free of charge, which we used every day to reach Charlie Beach—a fairly easy 15-20 minute ride away, with only a slight incline. Although he also rented scooters for 200 baht per day, we chose bicycles as we enjoyed the exercise and were environmentally conscious. PK also has a well-stocked mini-market with reasonably priced items. They had almost everything we needed, including mosquito repellents (including room plug-ins and refills), refrigerated alcohol (including beer and wine coolers), snacks like peanuts and cashews, and travel-sized laundry powder. They even had hair ties. Since the pier is quite long, Jes picked us up and dropped us off at the guesthouse for every transfer on his tuk-tuk. The room and bathroom were clean and of decent size, and housekeeping was available upon request. We appreciated having the back room as it was quieter. All rooms had a terrace with chairs and a table, allowing us to enjoy the small tropical garden. There was also a hose available for rinsing our feet after returning from the beach. Despite our personal preference for neutral decor (the rooms were either bright pink or turquoise green, and the building was orange), the room was highly functional. It had good air conditioning, a fan, Wi-Fi and a large fridge for our drinks. There was hot water available for showers, but since it was super hot in May, we didn't need to use it.

we liked everything. a couple minor improvements would be to have an option of an outdoor fan for the terrace, a plain cotton sheet to use instead of a blanket or duvet on hot evenings, and rolling papers in the mini market. screen doors would be nice to have too on cooler breezier evenings.

Everything.!; Mr. Jes and his family/team were absolutely delightful. Great advice given and good discounts received as we were guests. So friendly and helpful for whatever was needed. Exceptional room, spotlessly clean and immaculate. Location was great - near pier and all restaurants and shops. Water and coffee delivered every day to the door. PK is a one stop shop - it's got everything you need. We initially booked 4 nights and extended to 6. Felt like part of the community. Will definitely return - the place is fantastic.

Waving Goodbye!!

Jes and his family were exceptional hosts! The accommodation is just next to their shop which sells pretty much everything needed. The room was a very good size, really clean, had 2 showers in the bathroom, a large fridge, air conditioning, very comfortable bed, toiletries and a lovely patio outside. The location is perfect - near to a lot of restaurants and the pier. Jes has push bikes to ride around on (no charge), which we loved using. It is a 20 minute ride to Charlie beach on the bikes and a great way to explore the island. Jes and his family were always around to help us and arrange trips etc.There are plenty of really good restaurants on the island with amazing sea food. He also rents scooters if needed which are around £5 per day including fuel. The family were so kind to us and we really felt at home there and very safe. Ko Mook has no cars and is a very chilled and laid back island. Sivavli beach is close to PK House but we were advised not to swim there due to a lot of stingrays in the water. We could see them when we were on the pier. All in all we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend PK House!

Great location, just off the pier with good local bars and restaurants. Jess, the owner, was very helpful with organising trips and onward transportation. We also had the use of the hotel’s bicycles which was great for getting around the small island of Koh Muk.

Fantastic at its price point, quiet, but in the centre of the town so great location, big room, bed and shower and friendly family, will stay here again.
