La Mejorana

A couple weeks into our vacation in Spain, this is our favorite hotel so far and Grazalema our favorite place. The host is great and breakfast on the patio is so nice.

For a North American, parking is always an issue in these Spanish towns. The hotel apparently is well situated in this regard, but the applicable lot was closed for construction during our visit.

Absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous views. Extremely clean with great attention to detail. Aircon worked well, pool was lovely, comfy beds, easy free parking nearby. Beautiful little town with great restaurant options and a couple of supermarkets. Would definitely recommend.

Extraordinarily welcoming and helpful host - a real star!

Nowhere to put anything in the shower - or hold onto.

Everything! We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. We had a double room upstairs with a small balcony and an amazing view. The room was cleaned each day and it was really quiet at night so we slept well. Andreas was very welcoming, giving us lots of helpful information about Grazalema and surrounding walks. Breakfast was good value with lots of choice, and the communal fridge was handy for chilling drinks we could have on the veranda. Pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and the patios were full of plants and flowers.

A minor thing really, we would have liked another pillow on the bed.

Grazalema is a beautiful small town in the midst of many walking trails and easy visits to other “white village” towns. La Mejorana is a perfect place to stay—lovely rooms and common space, generous breakfasts, and a super-warm, friendly & helpful host. Highly recommended! We hope to return for another visit in the future.

Lovely views, nice terrace and great central location. Good breakfast.

Lots of stairs throughout the property, but it is a mountain village so most things are on a slope.
