2 Cranes Inn - Zion

It was a small boutique hotel with a nice family room and full service kitchen. The communication was excellent pre-arrival and checkout was a breeze.

We provided our own breakfast.

Would have liked to meet one of the staff as it would have been helpful to get some local knowledge about Zion.

Quiet location and good access to Zion NP. Great shared kitchen dining lounge facility. Good garden area. Good comfortable bed and shower.

We felt it was overpriced.

The room and bathroom were appropriately spacious, a bonus with historical homes. The owners clearly keeping up with the remodeling and refreshing needed. This was the first time experiencing this accomodation model - communal kitchen and gathering room. The rest of the residents were sensitive to the sharing of the space, no one was noisy or messy. The kitchen access allowed us to prepare our food for our day hiking. There are three options in dining spaces (front porch, back patio and dining room). We brought in takeout from restaurant in Springdale and enjoy it on the porch surrounded by roses.

Location is beyond the Springdale shuttle system, so driving into the park is necessary. This necessitated a early start to get parking inside the park.

Everything was so good and it ,room was cosy and comfy. I would like to stay here next time.

Just to know there is no lift and if you are travelling for a long and you have lots of luggage then be aware of taking your stuff up one flight.. 😉
