Lufkin Inn

It's on a busy road and close to the road, so traffic noise.

I never got checked in. The clerk gave me a paper to fill out and I started on that. Then while I was filling it out, he asked for my ID. I told him one thing at a time. Then told me to get out. Would not even talk about it. I wanted to be sure I wasn’t going to be billed for the room. All he would say is get out.

The service I was turned away for not being able to do two things at the same time.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, quiet at night, considering the location on a major street, lots of dining available close by. The area was well lit, plenty of parking.

I like that the beds was comfortable

I didn’t like the fact that even though I had booked a reservation they made me wait even longer to book me into their system and on top of that the bathroom was dull and the tub when you go to take a shower the water just builds up in the shower and the wall to the sink was dirty.. and the constant knocking from housekeeping 3x after we told the first one we didn’t need anything they kept approaching and waking us up out our sleep.
