Topi inn

It is an attic/loft converted into a massive room which can easily fit around 5 to 6 people as it has full size bed with two smaller single beds, a big 4 x 4 sofa with centre table and studies/make up table. The place is situated right at the beach with wonderful views from the humongous loft balcony. The room is above Topi Inn restaurant, which served one of the tastiest foods throughout my entire trip. Their Bruschetta was the best. Overall, a decent place if you want something very near to the Padang bai harbour and you have to catch an early morning fastboat

The access to the bathroom is very risky as we have to climb down very steep and very small set of stairs. Another downside is the very heavy attic.Door which is attached to the floor of the attic. And the floor is of course wooden, so it squeaks and creeks. All of these are very easy trade offs the price location, and food and location and foor they have to offer

Si vous souhaitez vivre dans la cabane de Robinson crusoe vous êtes au bon endroit. Très belle vue mer, agréable de dormir avec le son des vagues. Idéalement situé pour prendre le bateau pour les îles seulement 5mn à pieds. Personnel très agréable Restaurant de l'hôtel très bon

Les matelas étaient extrêmement sales, ils mériteraient d'être changés. Les moustiquaires elles aussi très sales et non adaptées à la taille des lits. Salle de bain rudimentaire et très sale, eau froide Pas de draps pour se couvrir uniquement des plaids, ont-ils été lavés ? Deux serviettes de toilette pour 4

個室で清潔感、開放感があった。2階にラウンジのようなところがあり、そこからは素晴らしい海の景色が見える。そこに座ってそよ風を感じながら旅日記を書くのは最高だった

Wifiが接続できなかった

De familiekamer was erg ruim en we hadden een prachtig uitzicht!

Niets viel ons tegen. We hadden ons ingesteld op heel basic, maar dat viel alles mee!

Nothing to like.

Bamboo walls gave no privacy or shelter from mosquitoes. Mosquitoe net filthy. Upper walls open to outside. Can hear everything from next room, upstairs, downstairs. Kitchen smells strong from below. Wifi terrible, each device monitored & throttled back after minimal use. Mosquito larvae swimming in water urn beside toilet, could spread Dengue Fever. No AC. No hot shower. Only 1 outlet for charging devices. Very run down, poor maintenance, old facility constructed badly. Only cheap padlock on door, no lockbox, no security. Food mediocre.

Rustic but charming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has one of the best Nasi Campur I’ve had yet. It’s definitely a bit oldschool, but in a way that feels appropriate and aesthetic in the environment. Very affordable for Padang Bai, and also the closest place on the main strip to Blue Lagoon, if you wanted to walk there.

Water in the sink shuts off late at night. Biggest problem is with heat/ cooling. No AC, and the fan in my room didn’t really point at the bed. You want to open the window for airflow, but there’s warnings posted about monkeys stealing things from the rooms. Some floor fans that you can position for yourself would be very helpful. Also wi-fi didn’t really work in my room, only in common areas.
