What an amazing place! Thanks a lot

Location in heart of Bolinas. Very clean room.

Noisy. but I was warned about that up front. No music the two nights I was there but a lot of noise coming from the bar and kitchen

It's a little too expensive for a return visit,which I used to do quite frequently...

Bolinas is a wonderful place and Smiley's is located very centrally with rooms in a wonderfully flowersy setting. If you like Mexican food, you can eat directly at Smiley's and other wise, the general store and the Coast Cafe are directly opposite of Smiley's.

A bit pricy for the simpliciy of the rooms.

Daughter attended Surf Camp

Parking but with the quaintness of the town that is understandable.

Cabins were clean and comfortable.

We arrived at about 7:30 pm during the week and you have to get key from bartender and when we arrived the bartender was closing up. We did not get any communication about late check in. Had we been another half hour later, I don't know what we would have done. I was surprised the bar closed so early. I did not realize Bolinas was so remote with no amenities after 7:30 pm. We had to go back to Stinson Beach to get a very expensive (and not very good) order of fish and chips. If you want to be off the beaten path, this definately fits the bill.
