They charge you for stuff that was already broken

The rooms were a good size and looked to be recently redone. We had our 2 dogs with us and all they asked was we keep chair in room covered to protect from dog hair. The room has a fantastic back yard, right on the creek. The location was very quiet and well maintained. Room is in a good location close to downtown Maggie Valley.

I had called prior to arriving to make sure the dog fee was $25 per dog, per night. What we were not told there is a pet deposit of $100. This wasn't a problem. it just would have been nice to know. You do get the deposit back upon room inspection.

The Bathroom and the floors were filthy. You could clearly see the bathroom had not been cleaned for our arrival. There was nothing in the bathroom for us. No towels no rags no toilet paper not even a bar of soap. We had to go back up front and ask for everything we needed. The shower and sink had nasty hair in it and dirt. Especially the shower. We only stayed one night I didn't even bother to shower and that nasty tub. Walking around in my sock feet, my socks were black. Needless to say I will never stay there again.

It was convenient to everything.

There was a hunting club behind the motel. There was a lot of shooting going on. Every time we went to the front desk to ask for something there was no one there. Our room only had three wash cloths. I told them twice we had five people and they walked by our room and saw that. The next day they only left us two washcloths for 5 people. They advertised having breakfast. The first day they had 5 tiny little mini muffins for all of the guest. The next day we went they only had one banana. I am very, very disappointed. I will not be putting my trust in booking.com again!

The location and the view was great. The price was good

Bed was too hard. Chair was not comfortable.. sink did not drain well. My wife likes to take baths and there was no stopper for the tub.
