Snappers Key Largo

Location

This is not a conventional chain motel room. There are 4 rooms above a restaurant/bar with live music until 10 pm. The room is a quaint throwback to unique stays. Each room has a patio above the restaurant that overlooks the water. There is nothing fancy, just a charming setting. Once the music stopped, which wasn't loud in our room, it was perfectly quiet. We enjoyed this night better than any of the others where we stayed in chain motels.

We're not picky people. We had no qripes about anything.

Klasse Lage, recht einfache aber gute und saubere Einrichtung. Es hat mir nichts gefehlt (schon gar nicht für den Preis). Die Bucht direkt sieht man nicht von Bett aus, aber direkt vor der Zimmertür hat man seine eigene Terrasse, von der aus man über die kleine Bucht schaut. Sehr schön. Das Restaurant ist lecker.

The staff was very responsive when we had trouble checking in at first. We also loved the space I. General-it had everything we needed.

The bed was comfortable enough, the shower was nice, and the location of the hotel was good.

1. The room smelled like bleach 2. The staff was making really loud noise (I guess from construction) at 9 am on Saturday an Sunday 3. We asked for towels one of the days and they forgot (we ended up not having) 4. Not enough body wash 5. The TV was aiming to one of the beds and could not be moved to the other bed 6. Hot water took too long to heat up 7. Maintenance came once to ask about possible leaks and filled the room with smoke 8. No place to hang anything

Overbooked almost didn't have a room. Air conditioning wasn't adjustable. Band played outside my window until 10pm. Towels had brown red rusty stains on them. Definitely not worth $200/night. Basically a motel better priced at $100/night.

The restaurant was right there by the room which was very convenient. Live music was playing which was nice too. There was ample parking.

The room was very dated and there was a sewage type smell down by the bar area.
