This was by far the best place I’ve stayed in a long while. We stayed a night and wished we didn’t have to go back home and back to work. Chester is a tiny town of 150 people but what a mighty little town. We can’t wait to get back!!!

The look of the property was great and the atmosphere was lovely.

Over our stay we discovered bed bugs in both of the rooms that we rented. All four of us were bitten and two of us developed erythema spreading peripherally. We contacted the property to let them know and and aked for some sort of compensation but they ignored our message and never replied.

Lovely, homey, very clean and quiet. Stay exceeding our exceptions and was a great place to stay on our way to Fayetteville from Texas!!

Very nice bathroom, but shared (did know this before booking).

it is a very different setting than any short term rental we have ever used. there is so much character, it feels like a sweet little camp getaway or something!

the walls are very thin, to the point that you can hear like every word, cough, and movement in the room next to you.

Great stay!! We would definitely stay here again. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t see or experience any ghosts but it definitely has some spookiness to it. If you are looking for a different kind of experience this is the place
