Luxurious Studio in Heart of San Diego w Cali King

Clean room. Convenient location.

Walls are paper thin. Upstairs was partying all night and stomping around so it was hard to sleep. Also all the planes fly right over the room. You hear every single plane fly by. All day and all night you hear planes.

Algunos pequeños detalles a tener en cuenta para mejorar la habitacion como las cortinas y tambien algunos pequeños arreglos en el baño. En la zona ve uno como drogadictos aveces por las calles gente de calle pero eso es manejable.

I used to live in SD and was back to visit friends so I knew the area well and what to expect. I wanted to be close to downtown and near multiple freeway access so it was perfect for me. For those not familiar with San Diego, you should know that it's a very urban area and there are lots of homeless people in the vicinity. The mini fridge with a freezer was great and I liked that there were some dishes and silverware available. The onsite staff were very nice and brought me extra towels and a new sponge to wash dishes with. The bed was comfortable with really soft sheets. I loved that there were big windows with lots of natural light and they were double paned so they kept out the street and flight path noise.

The name of the listing is a little misleading. There is nothing "luxurious" about the room or the building.The room was fine and overall I was happy with it, but I get annoyed with exaggerated descriptions. I want to know what I'm really getting. It would have been nice if there was some type of coffee table or chair at the bar to have a place to eat. The only real place to eat was on the couch which was obviously well used for that purpose and there were a lot of stains which made me not even want to sit on it. One thing I always recommend at every place I stay is - more hooks! When you're traveling it's nice to have hooks to hang things on. Either some hooks on the door or near the door for coats and purses. You can never have too many hooks!
