St Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina and Spa

Enjoyed the location and the hotel was beautiful! Views were awesome! Staff is friendly! Shuttle crew is very friendly and knowledgeable!

The captains suites are very nice and overlook the water

After we booked our two night stay on Booking.com, the front desk called to say they could not honor the reservation and blamed Booking for the mistake. They claimed they were overbooked. We were offered an alternate room for first night that was parking lot facing. The front desk seemed to feel it was our fault along with Booking.com and seemed exasperated by the mistake- they kept calling us "the Booking people". The way they handled this was unprofessional and rude.

This hotel is situated right on the water and walking distance to town. We had a first floor suite with a patio feet from the water. The suite was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. We had a very nice breakfast in the restaurant and drinks at the bar.

NO CHAIR in the room!!! As someone with back problems, this was a major inconvenience. There was nowhere to sit to tie my shoes because the bed and bar stool were both too high. I ended up walking to the chairs near the elevator just to put my shoes on. A basic chair should really be standard in any room. Poor value for the price — the room did not feel worth the cost ($450 per night).

There was a night clerk Bill who knocked at our door, which was a room full of ladies between the age of 50 to 70 and told us to be quiet. We were making too much noise. After I left I left to go back to my own room. I asked him who made the complaint. He said I did.I said he was rude and he asked me what room I was in. I’m gonna call the cops. Because of him, I would not recommend or stay there again. We are senior ladies.
