What a lovely night I spent under Cindy and Jeff's roof. Natural hosts, whose generosity of spirit is an advert for Colorado. Cindy's "Victorian maximalist" aesthetics fit this stunning property perfectly - that stained glass! - and despite the ornaments and trinkets I couldn't see a speck of dust, and there was still plenty of room for me to put down bags and phones and chargers and so on. The bed was deep and comfortable, the bedding soft, the blinds gave a wonderful blackout, and despite the age of the property I did not hear creaks and squeaks as other guests moved around. I would have loved to spend longer!

Cindy and Jeff do not know a stranger. They make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. However, they fully maintain your privacy and are not overbearing. Additionally, they are proud of their hometown and able to share useful information regarding history, shopping and places to eat. Regarding the mansion…it is incredible. The history and architecture speak for themselves. Accommodations are plentiful throughout and the attention paid to every detail is evident. I found myself continuously taking photos. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Pueblo area.

Everything! Lovely period decorated rooms and entire house/hotel was kept in the period decor. Beautiful sunny breakfast room and hosts provided a selection of snacks and breakfast items. Fresh coffee was always available and several varieties for every taste. Teas were offered as well as filtered water, and the fridge had milk, cream, almond and oat milks to add to coffee or tea. The fridge was also stocked with yogurt and fruit and other items so there was no need to go hungry! The host shops daily for delicious bakery items for breakfasts and snacks. Very B&B-ish with more attentive service. Cordial hosts Jeff and Cindy shared local lore and information, recommended dining, and more. Secure environment and parking. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Unfortunately no elevator to upper floor, but host was happy to help with bags so it wasn’t a problem.
