The Village Inn

I stayed at the Village Inn in October. It is one of the best lodging experiences I have ever had. The Inn is charmingly historic yet in excellent condition. I loved the shared kitchen and cozy living room; having coffee at the kitchen table each morning was lovely. Room #5 was considerably larger than I expected and had a very cozy sitting area and lovely porch. The management had taken great care to accommodate mountain bikers; it was easy to wheel bikes into the walk-out basement storage room, and they had bike tools, a bike stand and laundry facilities nearby. The hot tub and outdoor kitchen was really cool too! It was also just a short walk to the public house for dinner. I didn't have the opportunity to visit the taphouse next door but it looked really charming too.

The Inn was very nice and our rooms were large and comfortable. We liked the location.

Charming Inn, great service, cool amenities. Perfect for those interested in riding Kingdom Trails, skiing Burke Mountain, or visiting Lake Willoughby.

My teenage son and I had such a wonderful stay at the Village Inn. The location is perfect- right "in town", across the street from a great cafe, river in the back (fun to jump into after a day of biking), outdoor hot tub, and a great bike storage room with tools and an area to wash off bikes. Really the perfect set up for a biking adventure. And best of all, Mariah at the front desk was lovely, so helpful, and a pleasure to talk with, Hope we can get back next summer!
