Friendly and welcoming. Lovely room. Fabulous food. Everything really well thought out. We will definitely be staying again.

It didn’t bother us but you could hear some noise from the pub below.

"A gem of a find"

Pleasant owner/staff. Compact room, but otherwise exceptionally clean, warm and had everything necessary for a short stay.

Difficult to find anything to criticise the only thing that I would add would be a shelf in the shower to hold soap etc. to avoid having to keep reaching to the floor!

Lovely location. Fantastic staff. Good WiFi. Comfy bed. Good selection of teas in the room. Pub downstairs is a nice place to have dinner in.

Couple of things just to be mindful of: 1) the breakfast situation is a bit of a faff. It is laid out in the booking confirmation, but the chopping and changing in service on offer led to a minor bit of confusion. 2) the free parking is just on the road outside, not a specific carpark. Again, nothing wrong with this, but not what I was expecting.
