Mountain Face inn

Chamil und vor allem Clifton sind die geborenen Gastgeber. Sie haben die Unterkunft erst vor kurzem übernommen und sind wahnsinnig bemüht einem den Aufenthalt so schön wie nur möglich zu gestalten. Die beiden haben uns einen Roller organisiert, gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und uns ein TukTuk für die Fahrt zum Bahnhof organisiert. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas älter aber in Ordnung. Der Ausblick ist definitiv das Highlight der Unterkunft. Auch das Frühstück war richtig lecker! Wir würden das Mountain Face Inn weiterempfehlen.

Ameera is the best person who treat us very respectfully

The host was very kind and friendly. Location was good, quite near to the Ella city centre. Room and the ensuite bathroom were very clean. Value for money Breakfast was very tasty and abundant. The veranda was ideal for breakfast. It's a mountain chalet.

At first I was a bit worried as we had to go down a tiny staircase to the Chalet, but soon got used to it. Preferred the bedding a bit less colourful, I prefer white bedding and towels, yet this is I think a question of personal taste.

Really friendly and helpful manger and staff. Beautiful views of the mountain ranges with lovely sunrises, it was a little further out than expected , which turned out to be an advantage as it’s a nice walk along the train line into Ella and a short walk to Kitha Ella station and the start of the Ella Rock walk. The new owners haven’t reopened the restaurant, however there a some lovely local places along the train line and lots in town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and kettles are provided on request. Breakfast is good, especially the eggs and coconut pancakes. We had three rooms booked so it felt like our own little home in the hills. Thanks again VJ and team.
