The room was a little hot but it was a hot sunny day. On the whole everything was good.
GBWell ,as we weren’t sure what to expect ,our visit exceeded our expectations ,even though we have visited the area on many occasions in the past. The location in the village was perfect for visiting all areas in its surroundings….with great emphasis on lovely garden areas ,where one could sit outside to eat. Our welcoming was relaxed and friendly…this continued through our stay as nothing was too much trouble The attention given to their customers was outstanding ,so friendly and professional. In addition the food served for both breakfast and dinner was outstanding…very varied menu….the food served was so fresh and cooked as ordered . We will definitely stay again should we visit the area , based on our experience would recommend anyone to stay at this lovely village pub as the manager does a great job in creating a wonderful friendly environment. Thanks so much to all the staff for creating such a great atmosphere.
Well,regarding the breakfasts which were outstandingly delicious ( with local delicious sausages) we think ,Bearing in mind some people,s dietary requirements possibly the introduction of sourdough breads ,avocado and poached eggs could be an option. N.B we didn’t dislike anything. However,the chef was open to other suggestions ……a good option too would be omelettes. Regarding the accommodation we recognised that the bathrooms well newly fitted ,so recognising that updating the rooms were ongoing if / when decorations are completed ,possibly with updated furnishings the accommodation will be outstanding in every respect , Coasters for the furniture would so help to protect them. N.B. These comments did Not affect the quality of our stay.

NLPrettige Engelse sfeer en een uitstekende enthousiaste bediening. Fijne pub met prima eten. Een uur van de boot/trein . Fijne plek om de UK te beginnen.
Beetje lage plafonds als je zoals ik bijna 2 meter bent. Oppassen en bukken
BEAgréable jardin pour prendre des petits déjeuners en terrasse. Literie confortable et petit déjeuner excellents !
BEGBGBNLLeuk erg oud huis uit ik geloof 1600. Sfeervol maar ook hier en daar lage plafonds. Bukken dus.
