The rooms were very spacious and was clean and quiet, breakfast offered a good range

Found the breakfast buffet wasn't hot on both mornings

Great family rooms, plenty of space and nice beds. The play area outside the restaurant is perfect for young kids and the breakfast was lovely.

Nothing, we had a great stay. I´m not sure what Amble has to offer and it seemed as it would have been a bit of a walk to get to somewhere but the hotel is absolutely lovely.

We booked this hotel for a two night break and were very happy with our choice. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The room, described as a standard double, was above average in size with an extra-large and very comfortable bed. There was plenty of clothes storage and lots of hot water in the bathroom. The buffet breakfasts were excellent, including a good variety of freshly-cooked items. The hotel is easy to find, being prominent on a roundabout upon arriving at Amble from the south; we were not expecting a seafront hotel and it can't be described as such, being near some workshops and new housing, but the beaches and town centre river frontage are only a few minutes' drive away.

Some comments on here mention noise from adjacent rooms; there was certainly a little of this but within tolerable limits and only early in the evenings. Given the design of the accommodation area some noise is probably unavoidable but did not detract from our stay. The only easy improvement I could suggest would be to provide bigger TVs as the room layout meant we were watching from some distance away and struggling to get closer to the screen while turning the sound up and hoping we didn't disturb anyone!

This booking was an error, supposed to be Warkworth New Zealand and ended up with overseas booking. when I realised the error (30 minutes) i tried to cancel and explained the issue in an email, staff at the complex refused to refund me . Shame on you.

I didn’t like the attitudes of people who manage this facility. They have the ability to give a refund if they wanted to. I booked on line in good faith but due to a town name google gave me an overseas motel even though I asked for motels near me. I expect business people to respect their clients not rip them off just because they can .
