Really great location in the middle of Fowey, friendly staff, food was okay.

Lack of parking was a bit tedious, also not a huge fan of the dead animal gallery….but that’s irrelevant- maybe not one for vegans.

Very friendly welcome in a lovely ancient pub. Rooms were by contrast modern and light with excellent en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was great and again, the staff were delightful. Perfect location for an out of season break in the very heart of a beautiful town by the sea.

"Perfect atmospheric Cornish pub stay."

Wonderful characterful old pub with roaring fire, pool table - everything you’d want in a ye olde Cornish stay and comfortable too. Great breakfast, & friendly staff.

We liked everything.

The staff were very helpful they looked after are luggage after we checked out whilst we enjoyed ourselves at Mevagissy
