Mahaweli View Inn Kandy

I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful this place is! The view is just unbelievable, the family beyond kind, breakfast so lovely and value for money is exceptional. For what you pay, you get the most stunning view and amazing service with such a comfortable room. We were so happy here we extended our stay. In my 8 months travelling Asia, I have never had such good value for money. Some hotels would charge insane amounts for this view.

Nothing! But note that it is a 15 minute drive into Kandy. This was no problem for us because the view and peaceful nature of the place was well worth it.

Service n cleanliness was good

It was a scary location specially because we reached at night

A family managed small business and hosts were very accommodative. We booked both the rooms as a single room wasn't enough for 4 people as our stay was for 3 nights. Balcony view was breath taking an this is the highlight of the place which was overlooking Mahaweli river and Hunnasgiriya mountain. Sunrise was lovely to watch. Suvimal and his parents were ready assist anytime and made us very comfortable during our stay. Recommend Mahaweli View Inn to all travelers love a peaceful stay away from city buzz. from this place, you can reach to city center in 15 minutes by a car. Breakfast was lovely and Suvimal's mom cooked it for us for all three days. Hi Aunty, your food was delicious!!

Great location, as 6-8km to Kandy city centre and Temple of tooth relic. and views over Mahawelo river is great. Good breakfast. Elderly couple who run the place is very helpful. Recommended

The view from the balcony is magnificent. The family who run the property are very kind.

There was not shampoo. The water was not warm.
