The Street Head Inn

The room was lovely with nice view. The staff were super friendly and the food was just delicious but massive portions so make sure you go there hungry.

Lovely place , room was so spacious and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows we so comfy. Great location for walking and enjoying the dales Staff were really lovely. Breakfast was lovely

The only issue was that the heating was on during the night in June! , and the thermostat on the radiator in our room didn't work, so we couldn't switch it off. The radiator was too hot to touch , unfortunately, even though the bed was comfortable, we didn't get much sleep at all from around 3am on both nights due to it being like a furness. They did say that someone would look at this after the first night, but they didn't come. The heating was off in the day, so i suspect they didn't spot it as a problem , but through the night, it was unbearable. Hopefully, they will have sorted this as it spoilt the weekend for me due to being so tired. I would love to re visit but will go in winter 😀

The view from the bedroom window was beautiful! The staff are all super friendly and the locals who frequent the Inn are all welcoming.

Paper thin walls between each bedroom so not much privacy!

Location. Decent enough breakfast.

No water pressure in shower and no-one on site to address it. Very uncomfortable mattress Room directly above smoking area, and the smell of smoke was very unpleasant
