The Boathouse Wylam

Convenient railway connection. No breakfast, but well-equipped kitchen including cereal and bread. Can cook own meals.

Not en-suite. Lack of power sockets. Noisy pub. Noisy railway level crossing. Mouldy shower with blocked drain. No parking onsite, though cheap across in the railway car park and free a bit further over bridge.

Booked 4 rooms (all existing rooms in this B&B) where 2 rooms should have had a kingsize bed and douche. None of the rooms had a kingsize bed and the condition of all beds was very bad. We had 1 douche in one room and 1 shared bathroom for the 3 other rooms.

Noisy (very noisy bar, trains); no cooked food; little service. I’m sure not legal in terms of fire exits (locked in without all the keys.
