Location Rooms well equipped Bed was comfortable

Pillows were not good at all very soft and flat The dinner menu was not very big it enticing bit disappointing.

Such a charming place in a very pretty location, there is very little else here though if you are looking for any variety or a small shop, you would need to drive. Our room was comfortable with beautiful bathrooms, we loved the roll top bath and complimentary touches. The food was lovely and a great choice at breakfast, the main menu is quite pricey but we did enjoy our meals and the sticky toffee pudding is the best I have ever had! Staff were very friendly and attentive. It is only 2.5 miles from Chatsworth House which is also why I chose it as we visited on the Saturday. I would advise choosing a weekday though to visit Chatsworth, I underestimated how busy it would be.

The accomodation was in a room in a converted cottage opposite the pub which was beautifully done out. The food at the Inn was lovely and cooked to order so piping hot

The place was great but we could have done with some instructions on how to work some of the switches, heating panels etc. But this didn't spoil the experience
