Hardwick Hotel

An unscheduled stopover and the atmosphere and quality of room by far exceeded the £35 paid. Of course, quality means different things to different people- this was a bustling pub with local characters who were friendly, chatty and had a wealth of knowledge about the area that only people who have lived there for all their lives possess. Clean and very comfortable and very much appreciated by this weary traveller. I'd always check their availability first if I'm going to be in the area. Thanks to Wendy and Nigel who were exceptionally helpful. :-)

Staff were friendly and check in was easy Bed was comfortable Fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle in room Socket by bed Room was dark at night

Stains on wall. VERY noisy (customers shouting outside, doors banging) Fire alarm went off early morning, no one around and no signs saying where to go.

Amazing staff . The bed was cosy for £35 that a bargain plus Blondies diner do the best breakfast 😋
