Huber Hotel Tramserhof

Terrific Staff and Owner. Location and Views were great.

I stayed at the Hotel Tramserhof for 2 nights at the beginning and end of a ski tour in the Silvretta Alps. The rooms were very comfortable with a good bathroom with hot strong showers. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast and evening meals were excellent - the food was very good quality. As previous reviewers have highlighted the hotel is out of town up a steep road which is not on a bus route so you either need a car or to take a taxi from the bus station or the train station which is 3.5km or 45 min walk. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but for two small inconviniences - I had a very early departure (a train at 5.20 from Landeck) but unfortunately there were no taxis available (not the fault of the hotel) so 2 of us left the hotel at 04.15 wearing head torches to walk to the station (at least it was down hill). Also the hotel were not able to provide an early morning wake up call. Apart from these very minor issues the Hotel Tramserhof was a very comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff and great food.

Beautiful location, next to a small pond and half way up a mountain. Lovely forested walks on the doorstep. Classic, traditional Alpine hotel with loads of character and charm. Friendly and helpful staff. I had the half board option and the evening meal each night was delicious and extremely varied. Fantastic! My bedroom was simply decorated, but the bed extremely comfortable . The water pressure and water temperature in the shower great. My room was extremely quiet. The WiFi generally worked well. Overall a lovely stay. Would recommend.

Breakfast could do with some variety each day; especially in the hot dishes department. Wish I had been given a Tirol West Card on arrival. It would have saved me quite a bit of money on the local buses. Just remember that this hotel is in a remote area above Lamdeck. It's a steep 25 minutes walk from the church. Easy doing downhill, exhausting (for me) going up.

Breakfast was Great. Rooms very nice and clean.

A nice Quiet mountain retreat. Nice big breakfasts. Near by hiking and skiing. People were friendly and the spa room was big and great after doing sports all day.
