Closeness to the airport

The room I got was not the room in the picture on booking.com, also the bathroom is sooo small

Close proximity to the airport. Easy check in after hours. Very comfortable bed, ac, tea/coffee available in the room. Host was responsive.

As a couple accompanied by a friend, we booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay as transiting through Zagreb airport. The place was close to the airport, a short 10 minute drive and easy to reach both ways with an Uber. Both rooms were excellent, clean, modern and spacious. It was great to have a restaurant right next door, we had drinks and the food was delicious and cheap. The check in process was easy and we were sent the key box details and photos a few hours before arrival. We would definitely stay again.

Just a very minor thing, not enough to put us off staying again but the sliding bathroom door in room 2 was hard to move, and shower head holder didn’t want to stay in place and slid down the pole.

Our stay at the Cactus Room was just for one night while waiting for our flight the next day. The room was generally fine, although the bedding arrangement was rather odd: each person had a separate sheet and a separate duvet, which made things feel a bit tangled and awkward. We also woke up to find a noticeable layer of dust on our belongings, and one of the bedside reading lamps wasn’t working. On the positive side, they kindly provided a variety of teas and a water heater, though there was no coffee. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant called Baka — it was acceptable, and within walking distance.
