Room was clean and bed comfortable. Fridge freezer useful. Attached restaurant serves lovely, local food and good price. Service was very good.

In attic room, with low ceiling, which meant stooping in the bedroom, tilting head to shower and use the toilet. Also, alot of road noise, as property is between two busy roads, which pass in front and behind. Property does not have a sign on it, which means it is not obvious where to go, but it is where GPS takes you.

Extremely noisy due to the proximity with two roads with major traffic all day/night long.

Honest review, sorry. I lost all my faith in booking dot com after this "hotel" stay. This is not a hotel. It is some rooms in a busy popular-with locals good family restaurant. The building has no sign on it, you cannot know it's a 'hotel' The shared bathroom with no lock, is in the loft, and at 180cm I had to kneel in the bath to shower, but could not prevent other guests walking into the room The address on booking is 3km wrong if you copy paste it, but is fine if you click the booking directions link. If the room was 35e, not 120!! I would given 7/10. But it was 120 euro. But for the same money the next night I stayed in 4* luxury in Rijeka, Croatia, and the night before for 35 euros, in 4* in Sauze D'oulx. There was a dead bird carcass on the terrace, for months by the look of it. The building is dirty outside and unrenovated. The staff were understandably busy with many dining clients and we were secondary. The blackout method on the terrace windows was black rubbish bags scotch taped in place. Most places I've visited, I would stay again, or recommend. I use hotels 50 nights per year all around the world. Rarely at 120e per night. This is one I want to forget.

We got looked out of the room overnight and had to bang on the door to wake another guest up to let us in because the owner forgot to give us a key to the outside door. We assumed the key she did give us unlocked both sets of doors. The location is poor if you plan on getting to lake como. It’s a 45 minute bus and not possible to walk. There is nothing nearby the hotel to see.
