The positive is that the location is great, right in the old city center, and close to the water.

When I booked on Booking.com, this hotel immediately charged my credit card the full amount, and even though I canceled in plenty of time, the hotel did not return the original payment. We changed the dates and was charged for both reservations. I had to call Booking.com four times in 2 months, and spent six hours on the phone, before getting my money returned by Booking.com. Second is that I paid extra for a slightly larger room, but on arrival, they put us in a small crowded room with no air conditioning, (even though the hotel was empty), and only after arguing with them, they gave us a slightly larger room (but not what was advertised). Thirdly, the 'minibar' is actually a broken-down refrigerator leaking water on the floor. Fourth they gave only small soap, no shampoos, no room service, etc. And for the holiday rates they charge, should have been a higher standard.
