Kasbah Les Nomades

Very friendly reception, and the upstairs room had a nice balcony and view over the palmerie. Breakfast was fine. The guide from the hotel was very good and understanding of my poor French.

The kasbah is very nice and the room comfortable and clean.

The owner makes you feel very uncomfortable, he has creepy vibes and tries to fool you in every way possible. According to our booking we were allowed to use the kitchen but he didn't want to and tried to push us into eating at his restaurant instead. In the end we were finally able to use it, under his constant supervision. Multiple times a day he tried to lure us into going into some kind of tour and in drinking some tea or else. Fortunately we didn't, because everything was probably just an excuse to raise the price. The last day he asked for 230 MAD instead of 160 MAD due to the kitchen use and the breakfast (which was included). Don't trust this man ever.

Pretty place and lovely host! Food ok

Booked a family room for 4, and when we arrived, it only had 2 beds. The manager was a bit cheeky and told me that I've booked only for 3 people! After showing the reservation, we have been given 2 different rooms. The father of the manager offered to go and show us around the city, and it made us stop at his friends' shops, and we felt pressure to buy something. That we did and spent a bit of money there. When we dropped the old man back to the place, he charged me 140 dams for a service that I never requested and didn't want but couldn't refuse when he said he was going with us. Well.. maybe his a tour guide, but if i wanted one, I would have chosen one that speaks English. Very bad experience, and you shouldn't press people to do what they don't want and ask for money in the end.

The terrace is characteristic and you can eat with beautiful sunset view over palmeries. 😍
