The location

1. The accommodation was not cleaned prior to our arrival. 2. Despite their strict no smoking policy, the accommodation smelled very strongly of tobacco smoke. This was enough to cause us both to have a sleepless night, waking up to sore throats as a result. I suffer from asthma and am very concerned. 3. Even after the cleaners had cleaned (post checkin) the place was still grubby and dirty 4. The fridge was full of other peoples food on arrival 5. The pale carpet was incredibly dirty 6. The Wi-Fi did not work.

Loved having a kettle and small fridge. Bathroom was large and apartment seemed spacious. Helpful to have a TV. Mattress was comfy. Great location with some really lovely places to eat and shop just a few minutes walk away.

Not enough hot water for a bath so having a bath available wasn't as expected. There was a real lack of hot water, after a few minutes the water ran lukewarm. Loved having a cafetiere but a bigger one would have been much better. The noise from the main house of people going up and down the stairs, the washing machine and kitchen noises seemed to be coming through the adjoining locked door so sometimes it felt like this was so constant. Perhaps some noise padding could be added to the other side of adjoining door?
