The building was beautifully organised, loved the out side space just for guests, communal lounge with coffee machine etc. The corridors were clean and well carpeted making them nice and quiet, the room was spotless and appointed with just what was needed for a relaxing stay including a mini fridge, the addition of the free complimentary breakfast was unexpectedly pleasant ( very nice yogurt) . The building was cosy and we were glad to see the beautiful exposed beams and character remained visible. The staff were unobtrusive but very friendly, perfect. We love the Red Lion, the associated ghost stories too. We look forward to returning.
