Good clean and efficient hotel, good food and location

It is close to busy rd which is a little noisy but this is offset by its easy access to Bath

rooms were spacious; quiet and comfortable for sleeping. Room amenities had coffee and water available. Loved everything one level for luggage transfer to room

Since we were 'hikers' - post transportation options while booking so options known in advance. A little difficult to get to from the trail.

Excellent dinner and breakfast Friendly helpful staff went and above and beyond to help out.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Inn at Tolldown. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great bed that ensured a perfect night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food in the pub and restaurant was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions. We especially appreciated the warm atmosphere and the attention to detail in every aspect of the service.

Overall, a fantastic place to stay, combining comfort, great food, and outstanding hospitality. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Very long wait for breakfast on our last day

Everything was perfect. There was ample parking, and the room was exactly as shown in the pictures - modern, cozy, warm, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. Contrary to some reviews, there was absolutely no noise from the street, and we had a very peaceful sleep both nights. We stayed for two nights and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Having a pub and restaurant attached was also very convenient. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
