Longfrie Inn

We were offered a packed lunch instead of breakfast which we opted for; the lunches were superb and this was a real bonus. Our room was serviced daily and there was plenty of tea/coffee etc. at all times. Loads of hot water for a lovely bath every day.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like and we would happily stay here again.

The room was very clean, bed super comfy and bathroom spotless.

Cette auberge a surtout une clientèle locale à qui elle propose d’excellents repas pour des familles qui viennent en nombre. Elle offre au demeurant peu de chambres. Nous étions très bien logés dans une chambre cosy au style très British :-). Nous avons pris nos dîners sur place, ce qui au-delà de l’aspect pratique était très agréable. Très bons repas (traditionnels aussi bien que burgers succulents) dans une ambiance chaleureuse et un décor d’auberge anglaise typique. C’est ce que nous recherchions, et nous avons été comblés ! Les breakfasts sont généreux et excellents tout aussi bien.

Cette auberge de trouve à toute proximité de l’aéroport, dont le trafic est heureusement limité. Donc pas de nuisances sonores dans la chambre ni au restaurant. Nous étions fin avril et n’avons pas connaissance du trafic aérien réel en été.

What a charming inn! We loved our stay here, with a wonderful, delicious breakfast every day & our different daily requests taken by the very friendly staff. Excellent chef! Lovely decor throughout the inn & also interesting to learn the history of the Longfrie Inn. We also had a lovely sized room and such a comfortable bed too. The bus stop is outside so it couldn’t have been more perfect for getting to various destinations on the island. There are quiet seating areas, a smoking area and a pretty garden. Plus for those with families a childrens’ play area inside. The inn also offers a good choice & great value evening meals, again delicious. We highly recommend this B&B, it really was perfect for our 8 nights in Guernsey.

There was nothing to not like about the inn.

Very helpful and friendly. Great breackfast. The room had everything. The bathroom had an additional blue light which means the other guest was not woken by a bright light being turned on. There was a separate living area to relax with loads of games. Close to the airport and as the island is small close to orher attractions by car. Also good selection for evening meal.

Friendly team very popular local inn 20 minute walk through beautiful lanes to Rocquaine Bay via the Golden Guernsey goats and St Pierre du Bois church and village

Fresh milk for tea & coffee would be a bonus.

Excellent staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great chef and menu with smaller portions with a wide selection and a special board. A large super king-size bed is very comfortable, very clean hotel and well maintained.

The room was quite small, and stairs accessing the guest rooms were very steep with a low ceiling. It was awkward if less agile. We found it a challenge finding the hotel as satnavs were unreliable and no road signs. The hotel was closed for food on Sunday evening and Monday morning. As we arrived on the Sunday. However, as we were guests, breakfast was provided on Monday. So booking.com information needs to be much clearer, and as tea & coffee are available, this needs to be listed.

Curtains in the room were not blackout was woken by the sunshine would have been nicer to have a lye in and not get up so early for breakfast 8.30-9.30 is very early when on holiday
