Blessings At Strawberry Fields

Waking up the next morning after a long travel day to the island to loud talking and what sounded like a school field trip- I come out to about 20-30 strangers on the property- who was gonna use it for the day. We immediately were irritated and after that couldn't sleep, just got up and went to go eat and get out of there as SOON AS POSSIBLE. I had reached out a month beforehand to make sure all costs were taken care of and was just told all we were if we wanted breakfast, lunch, or dinner would be a "separate cost from the accommodation". Bugs from the outdoors everywhere- I couldn't sleep thinking something was on me- boyfriend received a bad bite overnight that rashed out throughout our whole trip. When it was time to check out because we had food the evening of arrival (fried fish and bammy) and breakfast the next morning legit (just eggs, bacon, and bammy) I was charged $100 alone for food for which we don't think $100 was a lot for what we had ordered..on top of them telling me I hadn't paid reservation when I had specifically reached out in advance to make sure this was all handled and was told just about the food accomdation. so here I go having to take out cash from my pulled money that wasn't supposed to be used for this because we had already expected this to be taken care of when I booked- and when I asked about it ahead of time.

the ambiance the location near the beach the privacy and the staff work ethics

nothing comes to mind besides the road conditions!

the good & bug hanging bed, the bungalows which allow for privacy.

the road to get there & the long drive, the lack of services : no breakfast, diner no later than 6:30…
