Pousada muito tranquila e pequena dimensão. Muito romântica. Mesmo em frente à praia e com acesso directo. Praia maravilhosa. Espaço exterior muito agradável e cuidado. Bungalô muito bom, com uma envolvência vegetal muito agradável e rede exterior. Atendimento personalizado. Perto de praias muito boas.

Existe um beach club ao lado que tem música ao vivo das 11h às 15h. Para quem gosta até serve de animação extra.

We had been dreaming of returning to the northeast of Brazil for years, but kept postponing due to the difficulty of finding high-quality accommodation that truly caters to a plant-based diet. Discovering Pousada da Amendoeira em Milagres changed everything — and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Our experience of eating plant-based in Brazil has often meant asking for dishes to be modified, usually resulting in bland and uninspiring meals. This was completely different. We informed the pousada in advance that we are vegan and, upon arrival, emphasised how important it was for us to have a food experience that matched the pousada’s gourmet reputation. From the very next morning, we were absolutely delighted. The breakfast was beyond anything we could have imagined — homemade plant-based cheeses, yoghurt and butter, alongside delicious tapiocas, cakes, and pancakes. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The main menu also offers a variety of plant-based options for both light bites and dinner, and it was so good that we didn’t feel the need to eat anywhere else during our entire stay. Beyond the food, the location is simply stunning — a true hidden gem. Peaceful, unspoiled, and far from the crowds, with warm, calm waters perfect for swimming at any time of day. While we did a couple of excursions (a beach buggy ride and a coral reef jangada trip), we could have easily spent the entire time just enjoying the pousada. What makes this place truly exceptional, however, is the team. The staff go above and beyond to make every guest feel special and genuinely cared for — their warmth and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this pousada to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape by the sea. And especially to those following a vegan or plant-based diet — this level of thoughtful, gourmet plant-based cuisine is still rare in Brazil, and this place is leading the way.
