Location is a little outside of Shika in a nice suburban area. The place feels really like a nice B&B as you would find it the UK or US. It was really comfortable and the classic big Japanese bath was a bliss. So was the breakfast - really enjoyable.

Nice location, ample parking, very friendly owners. Property itself is an interesting place full of antiques and vintage stuff. Owner is very kind and paid a lot of attention to the decoration (although maybe not everyone's taste). Our room was small, with shared bath (we booked the cheaper one) but comfy and nice view.

We had to arrive late from a long day of cycling. The hosts were very kind to accommodate us and we had a delicious dinner made from Noto produce. The room is very comfortable. The house itself is very interesting, full of eclectic antiques collected over the years by the owner. We would love to spend more time there. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The house was amazing, not even the pictures do it justice. The owners are extremely friendly and speak English very well (and even managed a few words Dutch to our surprise)

We had an amazing stay with great food and extremely helpful and welcoming staff and can only recommend this place. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area! We really regret that we only stayed for dinner on our last night, we should have eaten here every day, the food was just amazing!

The pension was very nice, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were yummy, and more than enough food for me. The room was spacious, and comfy, except the bed was a little uncomfortable. You definitely need a car to travel around the peninsula.
