Awesome room. Great location

The location in the main street of Creswick is excellent, close to all amenities, and makes it easy to find. And importantly, the bed was comfortable.

We were disappointed with our stay at Odessa at leavers Hotel, which did not live up to our expectations. It looked as if our room had not been adequately cleaned before our visit as the floor was dirty, and there was hardly any toilet paper. While the bed was comfortable, the window close by would not close at the top, making for a cold draught on our heads all night. As we stayed during winter, this was not pleasant. This is not a place we would return to.

We had a fantastic stay at this delightfully quirky pub, which also offers cozy accommodation. It's got a great mix of character and comfort – full of charm, a little ramshackle in the best possible way, but with all the mod cons you need like a reliable heater and a fridge in the room. What really stood out was the warm hospitality. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating – they even cooked us a meal late on a Sunday night after we got back from a local sporting event, which was well above and beyond. The pub still operates as a proper local with a casual, welcoming vibe, and there's even a small stage for live music, giving the place a laid-back creative feel. If you’re after something a bit different from your standard hotel, this is a real hidden gem.

One-of-a-kind romantic, relaxing, fun, bohemian neighbourhood wine bar with luxe accomodation out the back. Super comfortable beds and the room was warm - just what we needed. Shared beautifully decorated bathrooms were no probs for us and keep the price down. (Very good value overall!) We were charmed and surprised by the country style hospitality, delicious curries and terrific local wines by the glass, which meant there was no need to leave the open fire in the front bar or accomodation lounge room. Nearby trails, stunning landscape and *wow* French bakery across the road for breakfast sets you up for a pretty special stay. Apparently the wine bar hosts major music acts at some points in the year - something to look out for - and the friendly owners even turned off the music so that my daughter could play the piano for our own little impromptu show. Will be back!
