We loved staying with Jagath for three days. He and his family were so warm, welcoming, and helpful. He had good knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations, and organised our transfer to Tangalle. The food was incredible. Jagath’s wife cooked 5 or 6 different curries every night, which were all delicious. Rooms are simple and clean with wonderful views of the landscape. The train track runs just below the property so you can see the train a couple of times a day (no noise disturbance though). Thank you Jagath for taking such good care of us!

The room had an excellent view over the valley - albeit obscured by the mist much of the time. The food menu was overall good value for money.

While the room provided a spectacular view, the price for this was a rather exposed position with quite a lot of wind noise. For similar reasons there was some minor water leakage from rain driven through the windows by the wind. This did'nt bother me, but it might some guests.

The family were very helpful and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was very nice and the views superb. The location is perfect for walking.

Our room was a little draughty but we were given plenty of extra blankets. The weather was pretty cold and most of the time I'm sure you wouldn't even notice😀

Owner is very friendly and informative.

The owner is very nice and welcoming, even if a bit insistant when it comes to take photos of us without telling us in advance.

No hot water, some ants in the bathroom but as usual when we book rooms for this price.

Jagath is the most helpful and friendly host. And what he can’t offer, he hands over to his wife. She’s the powerhouse in the kitchen. What a meal! We had dinner on both nights. So delicious and exciting to see the food on the table. What a treat. There’s no WiFi here, so bring your own data, or ignore your phone and rather focus on the view. If mosquitos are a problem, Jagath will provide a net. We slept so well, and we visited twice in two weeks. Can definitely recommend this Homestay. We’ll be back!

Everything was perfect!

Guys! You have to come to this place! Owners are the sweetest people you will ever meet, the room and bathroom were absolutely clean and the view in this place is amazing 🤩 and the food! Oh, the food is the best I've tried in Sri Lanka. You can tell they put their heart in everything they do!
