There was no television set in the room

I had a great time during my stay at Karibu Inn. The staff was super friendly and made me feel at home. I came there by ferry, so the location was perfect (also for evening walks through Stone Town). Also, Zanzibar is not that big, so you can do a lot of different day trips starting from Stone Town (I can recommend Dalla Dalla's if you want to experience the real local transport and save some money). My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I travelled alone as a young woman and have do admit that in some accomodations I had been to before I didn't always feel safe. At Karibu Inn it was the opposite, so thank you for making me feel like that.

Just the location

The location is close to the ferry port, within the historical Stone Town, plenty of amenities. Full air-conditioned room and private bathroom. Friendly staff, full time manned reception.

Same breakfast every morning, it could have been better to have a variety.

Pillows and beds were extremely uncomfortable but everything else, aircon, wifi, room, staff, location was great!!!

The best about the property was the location. The breakfast was basic. The accommodation is fair, offers what you need for a few days.

The building is very old, some renovations would make a change.
