Ventorrillo de la Buena Vista

The building design. The lady working in the restaurant. She went out of her way to make us happy. We asked if there were eggs for breakfast and she said no, but moments later she surprised us by serving us scrambled eggs, on both days. We weren't expecting them so that was a nice gesture.

Food. The burger was bought-in, it was greasy and bland. Only the burger was served, it came with no bun, no cheese, and no onion, so really, it wasn't a burger. It was a piece of processed, circular minced beef, devoid of flavour. Breakfast too was poor - all processed wheat - bread, cake, scones, croissants etc. The coffee wasn't fresh - it reminded me of the soluble coffee we used to drink in the 90s. The general condition of the property was disappointing, it's a real shame because it's a lovely building. I expect the woodwork hasn't been painted in 20 + years. The path (there is no path) through the garden down to the road may be a challenge for some people at night. You're negotiating a rocky, steep slope in the dark.
