The Chequers Inn

Great location for the race track, nice staff, good sized room, nice breakfast, nice fresh large towels.

Shower was weak and bed not too comfortable.

would have liked a choice at breakfast only cooked option with toast was given. No juice or cereals offered if you didn't want a cooked breakfast

It was local to where we needed to be for another function we had stayed 4 yrs previously So it was convenient

It was very dated, furniture needed replacing shower very weak no water flow TV very poor quality unable to view properly no hot water it stated coffee maker, there wasn’t just tea & coffee making facility, although manager said it had a refurb hard to see where & and on what, breakfast very poor had to to pre order on arrival child size no option to ask for extra very minimal, no orange juice no butter no continental, way to over priced for what on offer The evening meal was acceptable not freshly cooked was shop bought & heated appeared very processed very disappointed would not return staff were nice but that doesn’t make it value for money we were asked to pay the bill on entering the premises which we did immediately, only to be asked again during dinner in earshot of other guests we had to explain we had paid only to be asked “ are you sure I will check” not happy with that
