Value for money good, but only if you have your own transport, rickshaw or motorcycle would be best.

Rooms were dingy and lighting very poor.

Our Ella stay was delightful, thanks to the attentive service at this hotel. The spacious, clean, and comfortable room exceeded our expectations. Though slightly removed from town, the calm setting was a plus for us, especially with our own tuktuk. The staff, though we didn't catch his name, was incredibly caring, ensuring all our needs were promptly met. Overall, a highly recommended retreat for a calm getaway.

This place was so lovely, the breakfast tasted amazing and had a lot of it. The family were so welcoming and helped us as much as they could with questions. Tuk tuks are easier to get than walking to the centre but they are an ok price (hotel can arrange). Lovely view and couldn’t have asked for more with the money paid

It’s more than 1km out so if you are planning on walking to Ella, it’s about 2.5km to the start of the city and all uphill - but tuk tuks are easy

The hotel is a bit hidden and it’s kinda impossible to reach it without a tuktuk. However, the effort is worth it because the view from the hotel is just stunning. The manager is friendly and super helpful.

The hotel is hard to reach by foot
