The view from the room was incredible and staying on top of the mountain was a great experience. The gondola closes so you have the whole peak to yourself in the evening and morning.

"Mountain hut in a stunning location"

Mountain hut in a stunning location with views of the eiger. We were lucky to have beautiful weather to make the most of it. Accessible only by gondola or a 4 hour uphill hike but some fantastic walking trails directly from the door. Busy during the day in the surrounding area but very peaceful once the gondola stopped running. Very pleasant staff and easy check-in. The included breakfast had a good range of options.

Restaurant menu in the evening was a little limited but decent portions for hungry hikers.
