Three Horseshoes Country Inn

Fabulous location. Very peaceful and quiet. Very busy pub ( a good plus) excellent outdoor facilities for young children. Rooms (1 & 3) were Brill. Very spacious and well appointed. Very comfy beds. Superb breakfast on the Monday morning. Overall Rating - pretty perfect for the price we paid.

Breakfast was very good. I had a full Welsh breakfast, plus cereal, toast and yoghurt. The room was very nice, with a pleasant view.

I had to stipulate a time the evening before when I was going to have breakfast, which is a little annoying. Also, the fruit options were pretty limited. I had to access the room through a side entrance after going out for the night, as the pub had closed, and that wasn't ideal. The rooms were supposedly sound-proofed, but I didn't find that to be the case. I knew beforehand that WiFi was problematic, but I couldn't get onto the WiFi at all. I mentioned this when I checked out, and the proprietor said they'd had trouble, and he was in the process of contacting the supplier when I left.

Lovely friendly welcome, which was much appreciated. Helpful instructions given when I got lost on the country roads. Room was smallish, but clean and well equipped - had everything I needed. Tasty evening meal and good breakfast.

A Great place to stay in a beaurtiful area. Room was clean and very comfortable bed. Tastefully decorated and tea/coffee making included. Decent size bathroom and very quiet without any noise from dowmstairs facilities. Breakfast choice excellent and cook to order above and beyond from an excellent chef. Good choices for vegetarian in evening menu and excellent service. Adequate car parking space availble, a little off the beaten track but picturesque views.

Limited space for clothes but OK for a short stay, still very nice.

Nicely decorated, lovely big room, warm cosy atmosphere, nice breakfast, most staff friendly, Maisie in particular very helpful & kind. Food ok but a little overpriced.
