Absolutely fantastic family run Tyrolian hotel. Spacious rooms, clean throughout and a very friendly welcome. We wanted a hotel 30 mins or less from the airport with ski lifts no more than a ten minute walk and Hotel Habicht worked out better than perfect. We booked on Friday Feb 4th 2022 to arrive the next day on Feb 5th staying to Wednesday the 9th. It was all very last minute so we contacted the hotel directly. We booked the 13:55 EasyJet flights from Gatwick. The 2hr flight took just 90 minutes. The Hotel arranged their own transport to collect us from Innsbruck airport and got us to the hotel in 25 minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of wardrobe space. Very good en-suites. We were half board. The breakfast buffet was extensive, the evening meal was 4 courses. The Hotel put on tea and cakes from 4PM but we only made it back in time for this once. The ski lift was 450 yards away but the hotel runs its minus bus between 8:30 and 10:00 to save you the up hill walk. You can then jump on any ski bus back and either get off half way back at the car park or ask the driver to drop you nearer the hotel leaving just 100 yards to walk back. Ski hire is a short walk away but the hotel will take you in their min bus to save the walk back up hill. You also get their discount on the hire and best off all the hotel will return your equipment when you leave., which was convienient as we had to leave at 8:30AM to be at the airport for 9AM for our return flight on the 9th. The hotel has ski storage and a boot room with heated boot racks for a toasty dry start to a day's skiing. On the lower ground floor the hotel has a sun room with very comfy loungers, a steam room, hot room, spacious sauna and a couple of showers. There is an outdoor pool but it isn't usable in winter. We travelled Feb 5th to 9th. At the time of writing Austria allows double vaccinated with COVID boosters in with evidence for this. You do not need a PCR test under these circumstances! I share this as the written rules are easy to mis-interpret. You will be checked before passport control at the airport. We found it much faster to have printed out our NHS COVID certificates and show those than to show the ones of our phones. When you purchase you lift pass you must also show your COVID vaccination status along with ID. Also at the time or writing Austria requires you to have FFP2 face masks on transport. That includes your flight out and the ski lifts (ski lifts are considered public transport). Cloth masks and cheap surgical style masks will not do. We paid £10 for 5 at WHSmith airside at Gatwick. You and the hotel staff are required to wear masks in the hotel as you move about but you can remove them when seated: to eat, at the bar or in the lounge. There is nothing to stop a fully vaccinated Brit enjoying a ski holiday in Austria this winter. There is plenty of spare hotel space but I have to say we feel we hit the jackpot with Hotel Habicht in Fulpmes for ease, comfort and location. OK, so not everything is perfect. The wifi is good, but really only usable in the lounge, bar and tearoom areas. We were there to ski, not work or stream movies so it didn't impact us.

Lovely little hotel with friendly staff/owner who are always ready to help. Great transfer from the airport which is only 20 minutes or so away. Clean hotel with excellent food, lovely wellness centre - ideal after skiing. You can leave your skis at the hotel or use the shop by the gondola. The hotel shuttle also takes you to the gondola station!

If you are looking for a hotel near ski center, is this the right place, when you should stay. Very friendly staff, delicious food (four-course menu), nice comfy room with terrace in every room, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was great and pleasant. Disadvantage for who are not smokers - the smoke smelled over whole hotel.

We stayed in a small family owned hotel, with a stunning view for New Year 2011. The owner personally met us and then we saw him quite often talking to guests and inquiring about the stay experience. The hotel staff was very nice too, very helpful with all our requests. The food was very good too, lots of meet and cheese, fruits, and very good bread, etc for the breakfast. And a traditional dinners, each day different menu choices. Not pretentious, but very tasty. The was also a sauna area in the hotel, with finish, steam and infrared saunas. Very good after the day of skiing. Hotel is right next to one there's skiing slopes and about 20 mins drive from the stubai glacier, which is extremely good. There's a possibility to take skiing equipment for rent with discount if you stay in this hotel. The only thing which didn't let us sleep was the church bell in the city center, which started to ring at 6 am. It was an unusual thing to hear for us in the morning, but we got used to it after the 3rd day and didn't hear it any more.

We spend a very happy 9 nights in this hotel. It is family run and the staff cannot do enough for you. They are always in a good mood and seem to really enjoy there work. The breakfast buffet is good. It has some hot food (eggs, bacon etc) and a wide selection of cold foods. Evening meals are ordered at breakfast and are typical Tyrolean. Meat dishes dominate but there is a vegetarian or fish choice every day. The room was clean and tidy and all have balconies with breathtaking views. I should really keep quiet about this little gem but they deserve to get the custom.
