Travel was not really good on the way. Road was awful they need to fix it. So muddy due to landslide on the side of the entrance. Very hard to get in due to small road and sreet. Food is not recommended. No fruits and vegetables choices for breakfast. I will not recommend unless they put something on there Facebook page they have cemented their entrance. Don’t even try to go there when they have a week of rains. They should be ready to refund if in case this happens. Too many dog poop. Three in our group step on it. Ohh my goodness even going to the view deck. The room , beds and bathroom highly recommended . For the meantime not going back anymore.

Fix the menu and should be a little bit with class. Nine of us came from US. Good we were raised in the Philippines so somehow we understand this situation.

We just loved the warm welcome of Gloria and her husband. They showed us around explaining thing about the baleh and way of live. To sleep in the baleh was a great experience, I have seldom slept that good. The view was amazing. It is very easy to reach the town and sights. As we came from the mountain province and had lots of trouble driving because of landslides due to 3 typhoons (and a 4th one coming in) we felt it was better to drive back to Manila earlier. Hence we stayed a night shorter. That was a shame. This is a place to spend at least 2 nights.

Personally we have found the communications upfront a bit 'harsh'. Because of that we didnt feel so welcome upfront (which turned to be more than okay after arrival). Because of the 3 typhoons we were a bit reluctant to arrange tours ahead. Of course people need time to areange thing, which is understandable. In our defense, we wanted to have some flexibility in case of trouble. There seemed to be little understanding about our point of view. We thought that 'softer' communications would have made us feel a bit more comfortable.

Hiwang native hut place is my favorite accommodation whenever we are in Banaue! Been there several times!

Staff were quite accommodating. We had a change of heart with the rooms and they agreed to swap for a fee. From native houses we transferred to modern stone rooms which suited our family (senior and children). We also had late lunch and everything was fresh and tasty. Each dish was actually good for 2. Funnily enough my favorite part of the accommodation is the amazing bathroom/shower.

I really wish there was an electric fan available or provided. I struggled to sleep as it was warm for me.
