Hideaway Hotel Montestyria Chalets & Suiten

Our stay at Hideaway Hotel Montestyria Chalets & Suiten was absolutely wonderful. We especially loved the private breakfast in the Chalet—it was such a lovely experience to enjoy it together as a family, making it even more special for our little one. The location was breathtaking, and everything about our stay was perfect. We also had the chance to relax in the sauna, which was a great addition to our getaway. Exploring the beautiful surroundings with our two-year-old son through scenic hikes made the weekend truly memorable. It was the perfect family retreat, and we can’t wait to return.

Perfect location at the side of the mountain wiev the full city. Large and comfortable good equipment house with finish sauna! Parking place in the front of buildings! Polite and lovely staff! Welcome home made cake every afternoon!

I had high expectations when booked Montestyria, but it was so much better! Helga was the best host, views from the house/terrace/balcony are breathtaking, everything is brand new and extra cozy, rooms are spacious. It was easy to find and drive to, best quality kitchen appliances, high quality toiletries, very generous breakfast! Honestly I cannot not find a single thing that could be improved, definitely a place to stay!!!!

The moment you step foot in the cozy 'lobby', you are made to feel right at home. It feels more like visiting a distant relative, than checking into a hotel. We arrived after regular check-in time, and still we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and chatted for half an hour - what a difference to what you are used to. This approach directly set the tone for the rest of the stay, and I have not come across a better combination of privacy and luxury, and such a personal touch. During the whole stay, the hosts were super helpful, friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable, the view is phenomenal and the breakfast is extensive. It was a lovely experience having it served in the room, with a view over Mariazell and the valley. We had some special requests, and they were more than fulfilled, making this a truly memorable weekend. From the hotel, you get to the center of Mariazell within minutes on foot, but getting to the hotel by car is equally easy, making it a great starting point for excursions into the region.
